Most skincare products are overhyped…
so I rated them honestly 👇
Neck firming creams – 2/10
Don’t fall for this. Creams can’t “lift” skin – at best, they just moisturise.
Eye creams – 3.5/10
The under-eye area is thin, so yes – it needs hydration. But your regular moisturiser can do the same job.
You don’t need a separate eye cream – if anything, targeted actives work better.
Oil cleansers – 8.5/10
Game-changer. Removes makeup, SPF & dirt properly – great for all skin types.
Collagen / night creams – 2/10
Collagen in creams doesn’t get absorbed into your skin. Most night creams are just thicker moisturisers – nothing transformative. Real results come from actives, not fancy labels.
Eye patches – 6/10
Great for instant depuffing & hydration before events…
but not a long-term fix.
Sheet masks – 4/10
Only for quick hydration and that temporary glow before events.
Results fade within hours – don’t expect long-term changes.
Korean masks – 7.5/10
More advanced formulations with better ingredients and targeting.
They actually focus on skin barrier, hydration, and specific concerns – worth trying.
Skincare is not about more products…it’s about using the RIGHT ones.
